Good painting contract - painting three houses
Good painting contract. The aim of the painting contract is to renovate all the residential buildings in the yard of the Ronald McDonald house to a new faith and to become a temporary home for families with long -term children during the child's hospital.
The Ronald McDonald House consists of three home-based wooden houses in the Meilahti villa area, within walking distance of a new children's hospital. The maritime and sunny environment is a demanding environment for the house. The activities of the Children's House Foundation are based on donation funds, which cover more than half of the costs each year. The Foundation is constantly raising funds to maintain the house and increase the well -being of families.
When a child becomes seriously ill, nothing replaces the closeness of the family. Each year, the house offers more than 400 families with a home -like safe haven near the hospital when it comes to storming in life. In order for the house itself to withstand future storm weather, it must be renovated. Over the next few years, Uula Color is involved in supporting the Foundation's activities by donating paints to three houses to the facade painting.

A piece of the history of the green house. Penttilä's house in Nurmo Kirkonkylä was built in 1844 as the main building of the farming farm. The farm was one of Nurmo's largest agricultural facilities. The house was built by Antti Penttilä. The house was inhabited until the mid -1970s, after which the house was without residents until 1998. Later, the house was demolished under the intersection of the Seinäjoki-Lapuan road and the house was sold to log builder Erkki Hiipakka. Eventually, the house was transferred to the Meilahti villa area, close to the children's hospital.

Ronald McDonald in the house needs to continue to support
The need for accommodation is continuous
The Ronald McDonald Children's House Foundation was established in 1996 to provide long -term patients and their families with a home -like accommodation in Ronald McDonald's house when the child needs hospitalization in Helsinki and his own home is far away. There is a great need for Ronald McDonald House near Hus's new children's hospital. Every year, about 400 families stay in the house. Over the past 18 years, there have been over 150,000 overnight stays and the house has served over 7,500 families. The average occupancy rate in 2019 was over 80%. The activities of the Children's House Foundation are based on donations and overnight payments.
Ronald McDonald in the house lives like at home and peer support happens like naturally
In Finland, the most demanding specialized medical care is centralized in Helsinki's new children's hospital. Children and their parents come from all over Finland and often have to stay in the hospital for days, weeks or even months. Each family has its own family room and a fully equipped kitchen, living and playing facilities and a sauna. When treatments allow a small patient, the house may also live in the house with the rest of the family. All families living in the house are united by the child's serious illness and treatment period in a new children's hospital. Peer support between families is like naturally in the morning coffee and an evening snack. Parents' coping during and after the treatment supports the well -being of the whole family. The child's serious illness always touches the whole family.
New supporters are needed
The international Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) was founded in 1984 to raise funds and further donate them to needs that facilitate the well -being of children. The first Ronald McDonald house was built in Philadelphia in 1974. McDonald's Oy founded the Foundation in Finland in 1996 and has since served as one of the major partners. In addition, many companies, communities and individuals have supported their support to the Foundation, but new supporters are still needed.
