Uula Ovi and Window Painting Instructions-
Painting Doors and Windows

Uula Ovi and Window Painting Instructions for painting new and previously painted or lacquered wooden surfaces and wood fibreboard surfaces in dry interiors such as interior doors, frames, window frames and furniture. The paint is also suitable for previously painted metal surfaces such as painting the ovens and painting covered exterior wood surfaces. (Not for exterior walls or exterior and interior floors.) It is a good idea to choose the door and window paint for the inner surfaces that require good consumption resistance. Always choose the color tone in the lighting and the mode where it comes. Lighting and the gloss rate of the paint affect the color observation. It is essential for oil paints that light shades may turn yellow in the dark. This is a good idea to consider when making shade choices.

Uula Ovi and Window Painting Instructions

Mix the paint thoroughly before painting and, if necessary, during painting. Mix a sufficient paint in the same container for the uniform surface to avoid any shade differences. Do test painting with the color of your choice to make sure the tone is correct. Please note that the right shade of the paint is only visible after the surface dries. Take care of the painting environment and protect the surfaces with tape, paper, cardboard or protective plastic that remain untreated. If you paint decorative patterns or surfaces that use a tape for painter, etc., we recommend a longer drying time before taping the surface and new painting.

Painting conditions

We recommend painting with a brush. The surface to be painted must be dry, less than 80 % of the relative humidity and at least +10 ° C. The painted surface is touching dry after about 6 hours and can be repainted after about 24 hours. Ribbon tightly with a tight brush, as the too rich paint layer wrinkles as it dries. Heating the paint in a water bath facilitates the spread of the paint thinly. The hardening of the painted surface will continue for a month. Cool and dark slow down the drying of the paint.
