Who of us would not want to refresh and change the interior from time to time, but the need for a growing child or adolescent, especially for a growing child, can be sudden. Growth spill, hobby change or switch to junior high school can require not only a replacement of the content of the wardrobe, but also a style change to your room.
The effect wall is an easy and inexpensive way to change the atmosphere of the space. A few carefully selected objects or textiles that rhythm the color scheme of the room together with the effect wall complement the change of appearance. Changing the location of the furniture can make the room more functional and help, for example, in adopting new ways. Making homework at the table instead of a bed or floor may seem like a renewed room.
The end wall is the most common effect wall
It is not always self -evident which wall is the most natural effect wall. For example, the location of the door and furniture that takes the room affects the choice.
In most cases, the room end wall is selected as an effect wall. In sleeping areas, the effect wall is usually the one that the end of the bed is placed. In this way, the effect wall emphasizes the bed and its direction, as if it creates the frames for the purpose of the whole room, that is, resting.
There are often other elements in the school room, such as a desk or a drum set, and furniture layout is not necessarily the most important guide. If the end wall does not seem to be a suitable effect wall, you can think about what you want to emphasize in the room where you want the gaze to be guided.
Selecting the color of the effect wall
A child or adolescent often wants to influence the choice of the effect of the effect wall. For example, you can use the colors of an important object for a child. Breeded nature -derived shades often match well together and bring depth, warmth and softness to the space. If the boy's favorite color is blue, the frenzied cobalt blue may, at least for the mother's opinion, be too much, but a slightly greenish -folded blue may sound more harmoniously in the rest of the interior and still create a dynamic impression.

When choosing a shade, it is worth considering the shade of other walls, especially if they are not painted this time, and the size of the room and the amount of light. Dark shades shrink the room and may make a small and twilight room feel tight. Light shades expand.
For example, the color of the harmonic effect wall may be the same shade as other walls, in a degree or a couple of darker shades, or other tone. The stronger effect is caused by the other walls in a much darker shade, and contrast is also achieved in the colors of the counter colors.

With a careful criminal offense, a neat result
The effect wall looks upright and appropriate when its edges are as straight as possible and neatly limited. Before starting the painting, it is worth considering whether the effect wall paint is brought to the corners and the ceiling or whether to leave a light limit on the edges of the effect wall. The light threshold usually produces the coolest result. The shade of the other two walls turns to the effect wall and remains to limit the effective tone at about a centimeter wide.
Border painting with paint tape
Before starting the painting, the wall is brushed from the dust and/or wiped with a damp cloth.
The crop can be made with a painter's tape, which gives you the coolest result when you first paint the border border in the previous shade of other walls. After it dries, you can make the crop by painting a slightly over the painter's tape in a shade of the effect wall. Because the edge of the tape is closed in advance, the effect wall paint does not reach the tape and the edge becomes straight and neat.
The painter's tape is removed at the end of the painting at a 45 degree angle. If you are painted twice, as is often necessary, the painter's tape will only be removed after the second painting.
The painting of the light limit on the borderline
The border can also be used to achieve a neat light threshold. The rollers on its edge are placed against the adjacent wall and the distance to the wall remains the same when the border becomes straight. However, this requires that the walls adjacent to the effect wall are straight and even.
The paint is applied with a brush to the top of the border, about halfway through, and the border is transported from the bottom up with an adjacent wall. The border leaves a slightly different trail compared to the roll, ie the paint surface made by the border is smoothed with a roller to allow the trace of the entire width of the wall.
Wall painting with a roller
When all four boundaries on the wall are finished, the wall can be painted with a roller inside the borders. Passing the paint from top to bottom or vice versa about one meter wide at a time and then returns to smooth the paint by lightly rolling with one stroke either from top to bottom or from the bottom up. The direction does not matter as long as the leveling is done in the same direction.
By smoothing the paint surface with parallel rollers, you will get a smooth result where the tracks of the roll do not appear when the light hits the wall at different angles.

Uula with interior paint painting is easy and fast
Uula's interior paint is a natural oil-based water-borne interior paint, which is almost odorless at the painting phase, so that even spontaneous interior projects go smoothly without disturbing family life. It also dries quickly, and the painting of the effect wall, or even a complete deformation, is achieved during the school day, a surprise to the returning home.
The frosted gloss creates a velvety surface on the wall that fades the surface irregularities. The semi -matt gloss, on the other hand, is more frustrated wiping and washing. The effect wall is usually selected as the other walls, but you can play at the gloss!
